Sunday School
In Sentermenigheten, children are important. We do everything we can to provide them with a safe environment where they can meet other children, and where they can develop a good image of God and develop their own faith in Jesus.
In Sunday school, we want the children to get acquainted with the Bible and become confident in their relationship with God. We want the children to establish good friendships, also across ages. At Sunday school, the children meet adults who convey the message about Jesus in an exciting and varied way. The gatherings consist of a presentation part and an activity part. In the presentation part, the gospel is presented through drama, storytelling, conversation, song, and music. In the activity part, there are games, contests, crafting activities, and more.
Sunday school is for children from 1 year up to and including 6th grade and has the following age distribution:
Mini Gang: 1 to 3 years (parent-run in the festival hall)
Junior Gang: 3 years up to 1st grade
Super Gang: 2nd grade up to 6th grade
The children are part of the first part of the service with singing, and are dropped off by parents around 11:30. The children must be picked up after the service is over.
