We believe that as Christians, we need to belong to a church community. Furthermore, we believe that as a church, we need to align with other churches within a larger context.
Sentermenigheten is affiliated with the Pentecostal Movement in Norway and is also a part of the Word of Life Family in Europe.
Pentecostal Movement
In February 2014, we were officially inducted into the Pentecostal Movement in Norway. This took place at the Pentecostal Movement’s leadership conference, LED14. The Pentecostal Movement in Norway is a coalition of approximately 330 independent congregations. These congregations have a total of around 50,000 members in Norway. On a global scale, it is estimated that there are about 500,000 Pentecostals.
Word of Life Family
On Saturday, July 27, 2019, during the European Conference at Word of Life in Uppsala, Sentermenigheten was introduced as one of the 30 European congregations that are part of the newly established Word of Life Family network.
We have had a close affiliation with Word of Life for many years, and when a Family network was established, it was natural for us to formally join. We find it empowering to be part of a visionary fellowship with congregations that share the same type of spiritual DNA as ourselves.
